An engineer, not a task doer
I am an automation engineer with 6+ years of experience. Before Zaptive I worked as a software engineer at V2 Technologies, where I built CRM systems for large clients including BATB and Unilever.
That background is why I build automations differently: custom APIs, proper error handling and the edge cases most no-code builders miss.
Experience
Retreat USA · California
Software Engineer · September 2024 – May 2025
- Built real-time system integrations with Oracle Hospitality for automated room availability checks and sales workflows.
- Designed automated guest messaging and feedback workflows to replace manual outreach.
V2 Technologies · Dhaka, Bangladesh (on-site)
Software Engineer · June 2022 – September 2024
- Helped build a CRM solution for BATB and Unilever and led the technical team for the BATB CRM system, significantly reducing operational costs.
- Reduced the cost of running the custom reports service by more than 80% by devising an automated system.
- Reduced false consumer contacts for BATB’s campaigns by 30% by developing an internal APK distribution platform and managing user devices with an MDM system.
- Implemented a file-sharing platform where clients upload very large files (1 GB, 2 GB and more) in chunks to AWS S3, with thumbnails generated on the fly using the Sharp image library.
- Worked with Git together with developers and DevOps: code reviews, version deployments and branching strategies.
Tech: Express.js, PostgreSQL, AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, SES), Jenkins
Junior Software Engineer · February 2021 – June 2022
- Worked on user identity verification using the government Porichoy service.
- Improved logging and troubleshooting, reducing the time to troubleshoot issues by 20%.
Tech: JavaScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Socket.io, Git
How I work
- A clear plan first.
- A fixed price, hourly or a monthly retainer.
- A documented handoff.
- Error alerts on every automation.
